![]() Before Jesus ascended to the Father, He called us to change the world! Yes, it's true! We are called to be world changers. Jesus commanded us to "Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:19-20 NIV (c)1979). Then Jesus added, "And I will be with you, even to the end of the Age" (Matthew 28:20 NIV (c)1979). We have a call to impact the world by introducing people to Christ and teaching them His ways. How do we that? How do we change the world? Where Is Your Focus?Changing the world for the glory of God must be our focus. Often as Christians we focus on making money, getting promoted in our job, having a beautiful house, or getting in shape instead of letting the main focus be our mission in life. Pray This Bold PrayerYou can start each morning with a simple prayer: "Thank you, Jesus that you have forgiven me and adopted me. I love belonging to you. Help me today to change the world for your glory." Yes, that's a simple prayer, but not so simple when God answers it! Watch out! Pray that prayer and your ready for an adventure! Where Does the Power Come From?God is with us! He will work through you to impact the world around you. You don't have to muster up love. He is love. You don't have to strive to be compassionate. Jesus is filled with compassion. You don't have to grit your teeth to do the right thing. The Lord is Holy. The secret starts with surrender. Die to self and live to Jesus. Make knowing Him top priority. Read His Word. Pray. Surrender. Then, do what he says to do. Being a world changers starts with walking close to Jesus. How are you being a world changer?
