I decided to use Bible Study Guide for All Ages Beginner 3-K as a Bible Study Curriculum for our Sunday School class of mixed ages (4-8). Yes, that is a broad age range, but Bible Study Guide for All Ages had the perfect curriculum for our small church. Our little Sunday school class includes readers and non-readers, so we used the younger version so that the youngest ones could keep up. We have four different sets of teachers that teach once a month, so our Bible curriculum has to be easy to use and simple to jump right into. This was a perfect fit! Each child got their own study guide with a complete lesson on the front and back of one page. We have used it for six weeks with great success. Each of the teachers are enjoying it because the lessons are so clear and easy-to-understand. The entire lesson is contained on the front and back of one removable page so students can take it home to share with their parents. In the first lesson, I loved how it started. Julianna, the teacher, gave a lollipop to only one of the students and then continued on with the lesson. Later, Julianna asked the children how that made them feel. They honestly admitted that it hurt, made them feel left out, made them feel rejected, and on and on. This helped them relate to how Joseph's brothers felt about the favoritism their father showed to Joseph. When I chatted with the children, they told me how much they liked the little pictures to color and the large timeline pictures. We used the bright cheery timeline photos at the beginning of each class, asking the students questions related to each timeline photo. All the teachers enjoyed using the curriculum because the lesson was already completely prepared and instructions were so easy to follow. The children enjoyed having their own booklet and had fun each week. "I think the Lord used these lessons and the kids really enjoyed it. I was confused at first until I realized that the main points of the lesson were on the back of the page. At the end, the children could answer review questions, so I know they got something out of each lesson," Aisha informed me after one Sunday school lesson. It turned out to be a real blessing for our Sunday school class. It looks like we'll keep using it! Resources for Beginner 3-KWould you like to learn more about Bible Study Guide for All Ages?
