I just hosted a baby shower and we had a blast playing a brand new game, The Price is Right. You’re right! It’s based on an old TV show with a baby shower twist. The Price is Right Baby Shower game is the perfect game to entertain guests at a baby shower. It’s quite fun to see your guests pricing skills! Everyone was laughing and having a great time while we played. The game is easy to play, and afterward, all of the products from the game can be given to the new mom as an extra gift. What is so great about this game? Well, each element can be customized to fit the baby shower theme. From the items you purchase, down to creating the handout – You can be as creative as you want to be! What You Need for GameBefore the shower, make a list of typical baby items and purchase several of them at the store. This is what I purchased for the game: Desitin 1 pack of diapers (newborn) 1 pack of baby wipes Baby food Bibs Onsie Rubber ducky Sippy cup Cute pair of baby shoes Johnson and Johnson’s Baby Wash You will also need to know the price of each item. You can either go based off the receipt, or write down/take a picture of the price while shopping. After you have the prices, you can either purchase larger price tags and write the price on them, or create your own. I created my own template starting with a tag shape (2 per page), and added a pink border and typed the prices in pink (to match the girl baby shower). There should be one price tag for each item. You want the prices big enough to see from far away. Next, create a document that can be printed so guests can fill in their price guesses. Mind had “Price is Right” at the top and general instructions under it. I then listed all of the items with “ $____” next to each item name so they could write their guesses. How to Play Baby Shower Price is RightLay out the products on a table at the front of the room, or in the middle of the floor if you are celebrating in a home. Lay all of the price tags in front, but not next to any of the products. Hand each guest the handout and a pen. Give the guests 5 minutes to write down the price tag they feel matches each product. Once finished, announce each product and the correct price to see who had the most correct matches. Give a gift to the winner. If you’re hosting a baby shower soon, this is a great game to consider!
