My grandson helped me review PandaParents from MESSYLEARNING for Preschoolers and Kindergartners online. We read and worked on the Mommy's Baby course. We read Mommy's Baby, completed workbook pages that were age-appropriate, and watched the videos.
In the preschool learning story, Mommy and Baby Panda play a game. Mommy ask's a question like, "Are you Mommy's monkey?" Baby Panda answers, "Yes, I am and you are a big Monkey." This goes on and one through the book with pumpkins, geese, muffins, and more.
My grandson loved this preschool learning kit! He did not get bored and, like most preschoolers, loves repetition with a tiny bit of variety.
Of course, you can guess that one of the things we would focus on in the workbook pages would be big and little.
After we finished reading the book, we went to the workbook, or activity time for some early reading activities for perschoolers.
All the questions and activities were based on the little book Mommy's Baby.
I was surprised at how much my grandson remembered. He remembered that Mommy and Baby were Pandas when asked to pick out baby from a line-up of a hippo, elephant, bunny, and panda.
Now, they all sound very different, but in the pictures, they were all about the same size and similar in features. Speaking of that, I loved the artwork. It was so cute. My grandson loved it, too. The colors in the book and workbook are bright and cheery!
We skipped the letter pages because my grandson hasn't started that yet, but in a few months, he should be ready to do those pages. The workbook focused on letters B, P, T, and K. On the letter pages, I just asked him to find certain animals and things from the book. He easily pointed them out.
His favorite workbook pages were the matching each tail to the animal it belonged to and the page of differentiating between big and little. He wanted to do those pages over and over. He also did well with the counting.
You can see from the workbook pages below, that they are bright and cheery and fun!
We also talked about living things and non-living things which was a little above my grandson's head. He just turned three.
The videos were fun with the same artwork and graphics.
I loved the continuity of the whole program and honestly how cute the artwork was. It kept our attention the whole time.
My grandson and I liked Mommy and Me so much that we plan on doing another book, Scotty Skunk Hears a Scary Sound. As you can guess that introduces the letters S and H. Like Mommy and Me, it covers shapes, sequencing, and numbers. This one covers home and safety, which I think will be fun to learn about.

Right now, the everything is online, but print books are coming. I can't wait! I would love to read the book to my grandson while he sits on my lap.
